Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through Fapptory (fapptory.me), operated by Heizen Tecnologia Ltda.(“Heizen”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). All payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record.

1) General principle
Because our products are digital services delivered immediately upon purchase, all sales are generally final. We do not offer refunds for change of mind, underuse, or failure to cancel before a renewal date. However, we will issue refunds where required by applicable consumer protection law or in the specific circumstances described below.
2) Courses and digital products
- Free courses: No payment, no refund applicable.
- Paid courses and digital products: Because digital content is delivered immediately upon purchase, paid courses and digital products are non-refundable once accessed or downloaded. If you have not accessed the content, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase.
3) Subscriptions and memberships
3.1 Paid subscriptions
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to paid features until then.
- No pro-rated refunds: We do not provide pro-rated refunds for unused time within a billing period. If you cancel mid-month (or mid-year), you will not be charged again, but the remaining time is not refunded.
- First-payment exception: If you subscribe and request a refund within 48 hours of your first payment, and you have not materially used the paid features during that period, we will issue a full refund at our discretion. This exception applies only to the first payment on a new subscription, not to renewals.
- Renewals: Subscriptions renew automatically. Renewal charges are non-refundable. It is your responsibility to cancel before the renewal date if you do not wish to continue.
3.2 Yearly subscriptions
Yearly subscriptions are charged upfront for the full term. The same policies apply: cancellation stops renewal but does not generate a pro-rated refund. The 48-hour first-payment exception applies to the first yearly payment only.
4) Billing errors and duplicate charges
If you believe you were charged in error, charged twice, or charged after cancellation, contact us at hq@fapptory.me with your transaction details. We will investigate and, if the charge was made in error, issue a full refund promptly.
5) How refunds are processed
- Approved refunds are processed through Paddle, our merchant of record. The refund will be returned to the original payment method.
- Processing time depends on your payment provider and may take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.
- Refund amounts are in the original currency of purchase.
6) Chargebacks
We encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider. Chargebacks incur processing fees and may result in suspension of your account. We are happy to resolve billing disputes directly.
7) Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws, including but not limited to the EU Consumer Rights Directive, the Brazilian Consumer Defense Code (CDC), or equivalent local regulations. Where local law grants you a right of withdrawal or cooling-off period that exceeds the terms above, the statutory right prevails.
8) Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where required, provide notice. Changes do not apply retroactively to purchases made before the effective date.
